Tuulia Soini

Tuulia graduated as a Social Worker in 2018. She has supplemented her knowledge with training as a solution-focused coach and studies in psychology, psychological trauma and education. Tuulia has a wide range of additional training to support her work with children, young people and families. She has, among other things, training in Child Talk, family assessment training and HFR methodology training, which gives her the skills to act safely in challenging situations. In addition, she uses the NVC method of constructive interaction in her work, especially in supporting family interaction. Tuulia has extensive work experience in the field of child protection. She has worked in demanding foster care as both a counsellor and a family counsellor, and as a special family worker in institutional family rehabilitation. She also has several years of experience in out-of-home family work and family rehabilitation as a private provider. Tuulia has also worked with children and young people with special needs in the school setting and has strong expertise in home-school cooperation. Tuulia’s approach is solution-oriented, coaching and interactive. She supports parents to find their own resources and strengthen their inner motivation to change. Her work focuses on developing self-awareness and building more conscious and stronger parenting. Tuulia enjoys working in family work, family rehabilitation and professional support person work, and she is also able to participate in parenting assessment processes. She can also work fluently in Swedish. If necessary, it is also possible to use dog assistance, which can bring a calming presence and support interaction. Tuulia is also the CEO of Vanhemmuusneuvola Varsi Oy. She is actively involved in client work and develops activities in close cooperation with the rest of the team. The work community emphasises working together, sharing knowledge and mutual support. The aim is to build a working environment where clients are treated as a cohesive, safe and complementary team of professionals.
